Image Parameters
The 1/2.4" CMOS sensor records video at a resolution of 2688 × 1512 pixels at a frame rate of 30 FPS. The fixed lens provides a horizontal viewing angle of 102.4°, a vertical angle of 54.9° and a screen size angle of 120.6°. For efficient video stream encoding, the camera uses the H.264 compression format, which reduces bandwidth requirements while preserving detail. Image settings allow you to adjust brightness, contrast, sharpness, white balance, or 2DNR and 3DNR noise reduction.
Night Vision
The device has integrated infrared night vision with a range of up to 20m. The built-in IR LED illumination, together with a mechanical IR filter, automatically reacts to poor lighting conditions. The system provides a pure white monochromatic image even in complete darkness without the need for external lighting. The camera thus reliably monitors the designated area 24 hours a day.
Smart Functions and Detection
Integrated algorithms recognise movement, people, vehicles and animals directly in the shot. The system instantly sends notifications to a mobile phone when a defined event is recorded. Users have access to advanced searching in the stored recording according to a specific object type. This makes it easier to analyse events without having to tediously go through entire hours of video.
Durability and Mounting
The compact dome construction made of aluminium alloy and polycarbonate, measuring ⌀ 63.6 × 68.2mm and weighing 175g, meets the IK06 mechanical resistance rating. The camera can operate in a temperature range of -20°C to 40°C at up to 90% humidity. Manual rotation and digital zoom make it easy to precisely adjust the shot when mounting on the ceiling. Power is supplied via PoE with a supported voltage range of 37–57V DC at a consumption of up to 4.2W. Installation can be done on a surface, in a junction box, or using an optional flush mount.
Connectivity and Management
A single 10/100 MbE RJ-45 Ethernet port is used for network connection, transmitting both data and power simultaneously. Device management and live stream monitoring are handled via the UniFi Protect mobile or desktop application. The software supports Android, iOS and Windows operating systems for easy access from anywhere. Recordings are saved to cloud storage, and a built-in microphone adds an audio track to the video.
