Stable speed
The device operates on two bands simultaneously, reaching speeds of 300Mb/s on the 2.4GHz band and 867Mb/s on the 5GHz band. SmartLink backup connection
The SmartLink feature maintains a stable connection to the main router at all times. In the event of an unexpected failure of the primary frequency band, it automatically switches to the backup frequency band, which helps prevent a complete loss of the wireless connection. The 2.4GHz band serves as a backup, waiting in standby mode for a possible failure of the main 5GHz band. The network thus remains constantly available for all connected users and end devices.
Positioning and management
A simple colour light indicator on the front shows the current strength of the signal received from the main router. Based on the indicator's colour, you can quickly determine a suitable installation spot in your home for optimal wireless coverage. Setup and subsequent management are done in the Mi Home mobile app, which simplifies the overall network configuration. The extender works seamlessly with any standard Wi-Fi router on the market.
