Vitamin D is essential for life. Normally, this vitamin is produced in the skin by the action of sunlight - that's why it's also called the sunshine vitamin. If you don't get enough sun, your body needs to get vitamin D from food. The sunshine vitamin affects many vital functions in the human body. Dietary supplement Liposomal vitamin D3 - cholecalciferol is ideal for lack of sunlight and in the winter months. As we age, the body's ability to "produce" vitamin D decreases. Vitamin D contributes to the proper absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus, maintains normal blood calcium levels, supports bone health, proper muscle function, immune system and protects cells from oxidative stress.
Vitamin D deficiency
Long-term vitamin D deficiency has been shown to be associated with a higher susceptibility to the so-called. acute respiratory infections and influenza. "Vitamin D helps calcium absorption, retention and utilization. It helps calm nerves, aids in healthy sleep and reduces sensitivity to pain. K2 is a fat-soluble vitamin that bacteria in the human body cannot produce in sufficient quantities and yet plays an important role in metabolism (metabolism in the body) and bone mineralisation (supplying bone with calcium, for example).
