The ALPINESTARS T-SP 1 WATERPROOF textile jacket is a short sports jacket designed for motorcycle riding. The outer layer is made from 600D polyester, complemented by stretch panels for freedom of movement. Thanks to its fixed waterproof climate membrane and removable thermal liner, the jacket adapts to various weather conditions. Certified elbow and shoulder protectors provide safety, and the jacket is fully compatible with the TECH-AIR®5 airbag system.

Durability and freedom of movement
The jacket's construction combines abrasion resistance with riding comfort. The main material is 600D polyester fabric, which handles mechanical stress well. A key feature is the softshell stretch panels, strategically placed on the sides of the torso and the inner arms. This design ensures the jacket doesn't restrict movement and adapts to the rider's position. The cut is complemented by an extended back to protect the lower back from wind, and a low-profile collar with a microfibre edge.
Ready for changing weather
The jacket is designed for use from spring to autumn. The permanently integrated climate membrane is both waterproof and breathable, protecting you from rain without causing excessive sweating. For riding in colder weather, there's a removable long-sleeved thermal liner. This has differentiated insulation weights – 100g/m³ in the chest area and 80g/m³ on the sleeves for thermal comfort. On warmer days, you'll appreciate the underarm ventilation zips, which provide effective airflow.
Advanced protection and practicality
Safety is ensured by removable NUCLEON FLEX PLUS elbow and shoulder protectors with CE Level 1 certification. These insert protectors are made from a viscoelastic material. The jacket can be further upgraded by purchasing NUCLEON back and chest inserts. For protection, the jacket is fully compatible with TECH-AIR®5 airbag vests. Details include two outer zipped pockets and an inner waterproof pocket for storing documents or a phone. You can easily adjust the waist and cuffs using the Velcro straps.
