ASROCK B650I LIGHTNING WIFI
The ASROCK B650I LIGHTNING WIFI motherboard is built on the AMD B650 chipset and uses the AM5 socket. It supports modern Ryzen™ 9000, 8000 and 7000 series processors. Its compact Mini ITX (mITX) form factor makes it an ideal choice for building a powerful PC in a limited space, such as a small gaming rig or a home multimedia centre. The board uses an 8-layer PCB, which ensures stable signal and power delivery, contributing to lower operating temperatures and higher energy efficiency, especially when overclocking DDR5 memory modules up to 7200MHz. It offers 2 DDR5 slots, one PCIe x16 slot for a graphics card, two positions for fast M.2 SSDs, and two classic SATA III connectors for additional storage. For network connectivity, a 2.5Gb LAN port (RJ-45) is included. Video outputs include HDMI 2.1, and the integrated sound card ensures high-quality audio reproduction.

Powerful performance and overclocking options
The power section features an 8+2+1 phase design with integrated Dr.MOS components, which, compared to traditional MOSFETs, supply higher current for each phase, ensuring better thermal properties and stability under load. The board offers two slots for DDR5 memory with dual-channel support and frequencies up to 7200MHz when overclocking using AMD EXPO or Intel XMP profiles. For higher processor performance, you can use AMD Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) technology or the Blazing OC Tuner tool, which automatically switches between manual overclocking and PBO mode depending on the current CPU load.
Expandability and fast storage
There is one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, which is equipped with steel reinforcement to ensure a firm grip, better stability, and safe installation of even heavier graphics cards. For storage devices, the board provides two SATA III connectors and two M.2 slots. The first Blazing M.2 slot supports the PCIe Gen5 x4 standard with a transfer speed of up to 128GB/s and is equipped with a multi-layer aluminium heatsink for efficient heat dissipation. The second Hyper M.2 slot works with PCIe Gen4 x4. This configuration lets you connect modern high-speed SSDs.
Fast networking and wireless connectivity
Networking is handled by a Phantom Gaming 2.5Gb LAN port with an intelligent platform that automatically detects and prioritises gaming traffic over other network traffic. This eliminates stuttering and provides up to 2.5× more bandwidth than Gigabit Ethernet. Wireless connectivity is provided by a Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax module, which extends the spectrum into the 6GHz band and offers higher speeds, lower latency, and service quality comparable to 5G networks. It also includes Bluetooth.
Connectivity and I/O interface
The rear I/O panel features a flexible integrated shield with adjustable tolerance for easy installation into the case. Connectivity includes one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port, three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, and four USB 2.0 ports. An HDMI 2.1 output is available for connecting a monitor. The front panel supports one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C connector, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A connectors, and two additional USB 2.0 ports. The board offers integrated RGB headers and an addressable RGB header, which let you connect compatible LED devices such as light strips, CPU fans, coolers, cases, and more. All RGB devices can be synchronised with Polychrome RGB Sync-certified accessories to create your own unique lighting effects.
