The fish oil in the softgel capsules is purified and contains omega-3 fatty acids in the form of EPA and DHA ethyl esters. One capsule contains 330 mg of EPA and 220 mg of DHA, which is several times higher than the average intake of omega-3 fatty acids in Europe. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) recommends a daily intake of 250-500 mg EPA+DHA per day. Fish oil is also enriched with vitamin E, which protects omega-3 fatty acids from air oxidation.
