The ACI control unit for trailer LED rear lights can simulate the operation of conventional bulb lights for the towing vehicle's electronics. One of the advantages of LED lighting is its low power consumption. Some towing vehicles are not prepared for such low consumption, and the onboard computer reports an error and cuts off the power supply to the towing hitch. In these cases, the ACI tester, which you connect between the towing vehicle and the trailer, will come in handy. The tester is designed for vehicles with a 12V operating voltage. It can operate at temperatures ranging from -40 to 55°C. You will appreciate its low weight of 1,750g.
