Spray 40 ml
The active substance of the preparation, clotrimazole, is an antifungal for cutaneous administration. It inhibits the growth of many pathogenic fungi, including dermatophytes, yeasts and moulds. It also acts on some species of bacteria. Candibene is used for the topical treatment of skin infections (cutaneous mycoses) that are caused by pathogenic fungi, yeasts and moulds. These include foot, skin and eyelash mycoses, superficial yeast infections (cutaneous candidiasis) and a disease called pythyriasis versicolour.
Candibene is indicated for the treatment of:
skin and nail infections in adults and children from 2 years of age
- inhibits the growth of a number of pathogenic fungi including dermatophytes, yeasts and moulds
- it also acts on some types of bacteria
- used to treat skin and nail infections
Dosage and method of use
Spray the product in a thin layer on the affected areas 1-2 times a day 2-3 times. The affected areas must be washed and dried. For successful treatment, it is necessary to take the medicine regularly and for a sufficiently long time.
Contraindications
Not intended for children under 2 years of age. The preparation is not suitable for use in case of hypersensitivity to clotrimazole or to any of the excipients contained in the preparation, in particular propylene glycol, macrogol or isopropyl alcohol. If you are breastfeeding, do not apply to the nipple area before breastfeeding. Read the package insert carefully.
Storage
Always keep the product out of the sight and reach of children. This medicine does not require any special storage conditions. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the box and blister after EXP. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
