Canifug Lösung is an antifungal solution for application to the skin. The product is used to treat fungal infections of the skin (mycoses) caused by dermatophytes, yeast fungi (e.g. genus Candida), fungi and other organisms such as Malassezia furfur. These can manifest as mycotic foot infections, mycotic infections of the skin and skin folds, superficial candidiasis or Pityriasis versicolour.
Mycotic infections of the feet and skin affect areas that are easily infected (interdigital areas, skin folds). Typical symptoms of these diseases are skin deposits with a red (inflammatory) border, which may be dotted with small blisters. The bearings may be small, oval, or larger, irregularly shaped. There may be scaling at the periphery of the bearings or scaling in the centre of the bearing.
Superficial candidiasis manifests itself as distinct, usually red itchy patches, often appearing at the site of a burn or between the toes.
Pityriasis versicolour (called. tinea versicolour) is a fungal infection with clearly demarcated patches, usually brown on light skin and whitish on dark skin, usually occurring on the chest or back, the patches are not itchy, and there may be superficial peeling of the skin.

💊 Use

Spray Canifug Lösung in a thin layer 2-3 times a day on the affected areas of the skin and then rub the applied solution into the skin. Before each use, first wash the affected area thoroughly and then dry it thoroughly.

Regular and sufficiently long treatment is important for the success of Canifug Lösung. In order to achieve a complete cure, treatment must not usually be stopped as soon as the symptoms of the disease disappear, but must be continued for at least 2 weeks after the clinical signs of the disease have disappeared.

The usual duration of treatment for dermatomycoses is 3-4 weeks, for Pityriasis versicolour 1-3 weeks. If there is no improvement in symptoms after 2 weeks of treatment, see a doctor. Do not use for more than 4 weeks without consulting your doctor.

🍃 Ingredients

The active substance is clotrimazole. One ml of solution contains clotrimazole 0.01 g. Other ingredients are macrogol 400, isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol.

⚠️️ Warning

Children and adolescents:
No special treatment adjustments are necessary as there is no known increase in the incidence or intensity of adverse reactions with the use of Canifug Lösung.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you think, that you might be pregnant, or you're planning to get pregnant, check with your doctor or pharmacist first, before using this product. Canifug Lösung should not be used in the early stages of pregnancy for precautionary reasons (1. -3. month).
Canifug Lösung must not be applied to the breast area during breastfeeding.

Read the package leaflet carefully before taking the medicine. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Keep out of reach of children. In case of side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

📦 Storage

Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiry date stated on the box and bottle. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C. Keep the bottle in the box to protect the product from light. Shelf life after first opening: Until the expiry date stated on the box and bottle.
