The stylish EMPIRE VIP KD 519060 chimney cooker hood features a high-quality motor with an individually balanced turbine and a resettable thermal fuse. This prevents the cooker hood from overheating. The cooker hood has electronic controls with an LED display, and a remote control is also included for shorter users. The extractor has three standard speeds and one TURBO mode, which allows for the instant and effective extraction of all odours. When you're finished, the cooker hood can continue to run using the timer delay to extract any remaining cooking smells. 

Extraction and recirculation operation and easy maintenance

For maximum performance, it is recommended to connect the EMPIRE KD 519060 cooker hood to an extraction duct. However, if this is not possible, the extractor can also be used in recirculation mode. A 15cm diameter duct is recommended, but the package also includes a 12cm reducer. Another practical feature is the backdraught shutter, which prevents extracted odours from re-entering the room. To capture greasy dust, the cooker hood is equipped with metal grease filters that you can easily wash in the dishwasher. The remote control is useful not only if you are shorter but also for eliminating fingerprints on the cooker hood. Two energy-saving LED lights illuminate the hob and work surface. For the cooker hood to function correctly, it is recommended to switch it on 5 minutes before you start cooking.
