What makes Dalia Coffee Brazil Tres Pontas stand out?
- Origin of coffee:The coffee is produced by the Cocatrel cooperative, one of the largest in Brazil, with over 6,000 farmers. More than 50% of the cooperative members grow coffee on plots of less than 10 ha.
- Coffee name: The original name of the coffee is Caixa De Fruta, which translates to "box of fruit". The coffee was so named for its profile of red fruit and creamy milk chocolate.
- Coffee processing: The coffee is dried in 1 m deep static boxes that can hold up to 15,000 l of cherries. Thanks to the ventilation grille, air flows up from below and the temperature is controlled by two thermometers to ensure that it does not exceed 40 °C. The grains do not turn over during drying and rest for 1-2 weeks after drying. They are then sent to a dry mill where the inner skin, called parchment, is removed. The method allows for fruitier and more pronounced flavour profiles.
- Freshly cooked:The coffee is roasted three times a week so it always arrives fresh to customers. The roastery has been operating since 2019 in Silůvky na Moravě.
