Precision-ground drill bit made from HSS steel
The drill bit is made of high-speed steel (HSS-G) and meets the requirements of the DIN 338 standard. The drill bit has a type N flute for chip removal. Thanks to the HSS-G material, drilling is up to 40% faster. It also reduces the required feed pressure by up to 50%. The twist drill bit can handle alloyed and unalloyed steel, cast steel, cast iron, sintered iron and malleable cast iron.
Self-centring point for precise drilling
The self-centring 135-degree split point ensures a precise start without the drill bit slipping. Its geometry eliminates the need for pre-punching up to a diameter of 10mm. The cylindrical shank is suitable for standard drills. In addition to steel and cast iron, the drill bit is also suitable for non-ferrous metals and hard plastics.
