Jack Daniel's Single Barrel is produced in the American state of Tennessee. The Jack Daniel Distillery is the oldest registered distillery in the United States, and its long-standing tradition allows it to consistently produce a unique whiskey renowned for its distinctive taste and aroma.
Jack Daniel's Single is bottled from just one barrel
The final taste of the whiskey depends on, among other things, the barrel's location in the warehouse. For this reason, Jack Daniel's Single Barrel is made using barrels from the very top floors. As Single Barrel is always produced from a single cask, there is only a limited number of bottles in the world that will have the exact same taste.
A longer maturation period
Jack Daniel's Single Barrel whiskey has been in production since 1997 and has gained a large following in that time. The maturation process is roughly 2 to 3 years longer, which gives Jack Daniel's Single Barrel whiskey a more mature flavour and a specific deep amber colour. Each bottle of Single Barrel whiskey comes with information about which barrel it matured in, when the whiskey was bottled, and where the barrel was located.
