Performance of the Lenovo ThinkCentre M70q Gen 5
At the heart of the computer is the Intel Core i5 14400T processor with a hybrid architecture. This combines six powerful P-cores and four efficient E-cores for optimised power consumption and smooth multitasking. With a frequency of up to 4.5GHz and 20MB of Intel Smart Cache, the processor can handle even computationally intensive tasks. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 730 manages the graphics output and supports connecting multiple monitors simultaneously.
Fast memory and expandable storage
The computer uses 8GB of 4800MHz DDR5 RAM for a fast system response. Two available SODIMM slots allow for future capacity upgrades up to 64GB. The system and data are served by a fast 512GB SSD with an M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe interface, which shortens application and system startup times. A second free M.2 slot makes it easy to add another drive.
Mini PC connectivity
Wide connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless standards. A stable wired network connection is provided by a Gigabit Ethernet port. The computer has a total of seven USB ports, including four high-speed USB-A 10Gbps ports and one USB-C port. The modern HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4a interfaces are used to connect monitors.
Durability and compact design
The construction meets the MIL-STD-810H military standard, demonstrating resistance to vibration, humidity, and extreme temperatures. Thanks to its compact size and low weight, the computer takes up minimal space. Its one-litre design can be easily placed on a desk, behind a monitor or mounted using a VESA bracket.

Lenovo is the world's largest computer maker, founded in 1984. Its original name was Legend. Later it was renamed to Legend Novo ("New Legend"), abbreviated Lenovo. In 2005 it took over IBM's computer division, which was among the largest computer makers in the world. It is similarly ambitious in the field of mobile phones, where it would like to surpass Apple and Samsung. As far as this goal goes, they acquired Motorola’s mobile division in January 2014 and have been ramping up production since.
The company also produces tablets, monitors, televisions, and storage solutions. Overall, they are known for delivering quality products at reasonable prices.
