The MaceMaker Borbona Slicing SanMai is a high-quality, reliable, and stylish kitchen knife with a 19cm Damascus steel blade. A perfect cut is delivered by the sandwich construction of the blade, made using Japanese SanMai technology – at the centre is a cutting “razor blade” of VG-10 steel, which is protected on both sides by a strong layer of Damascus steel. This combination of materials gives the knife long-lasting sharpness and resistance to corrosion, wear and impact. Damascus steel, which consists of two different types of steel with different colour shades, also gives the knife its unique, attractive appearance. The blade is set in a comfortable solid wood handle with a steel bolster. The MaceMaker Borbona Chef SanMai kitchen knife is not dishwasher safe.
