Multifunctional 2-in-1 guard – convert your guard into a playpen
When you purchase 4 pieces of the iMex Smart bed guard, you receive free connectors, which are key to converting the guards into a practical playpen. Experts developed this clever connector with multifunctionality and safety in mind. It lets you connect individual guards into a stable structure, creating a safe, enclosed space. This is ideal as a playpen where your child can play and rest while staying away from hazardous areas in the room. Converting the guards into a playpen is incredibly simple and anyone can do it without the need for complex tools. To assemble the playpen, you need two pairs of the same size, such as 2×200cm and 2×120cm.
Safe and durable construction
The entire guard features a two-sided lowering system, which lets you reach your baby from the outside of the bed. The guard mechanism is designed so that a child cannot unlock it themselves. Adjustable metal legs let you customise the height of the guard to your mattress, avoiding any dangerous gaps between the rail and the mattress. The metal legs feature a wide end cap that goes under the mattress to provide greater stability. Made from lightweight, durable metal, the frame withstands high pressure and does not deform. The guard consists of metal tubes, plastic parts (PP) and soft protective elements (EPE foam).
High-quality and breathable material
The product features a breathable mesh that ensures sufficient air circulation and lets you keep an eye on your child. The top part of the guard is covered with a special child-friendly material that is easy to clean. This material is also suitable for homes with pets. Smart guards cannot be combined with other types of guards (such as Premium). The actual length of the rail is approximately 3cm shorter to leave room for attaching additional rails on both sides. The guard is only intended to protect children while sleeping. Do not climb on it or modify its construction.
Installation without drilling
You can install the iMex Smart guard without any drilling. The entire system works by fitting directly under the mattress, where the weight of the mattress stabilises the structure. Use the bed guards as a single piece, 2 pieces (in an L-shape or opposite each other), 3 pieces (in a U-shape) or 4 pieces (around the entire perimeter of the bed). You can attach them to almost any type of bed. Measure the length of the sides of your inner bed frame before ordering.
