LP Record Still 100% Ozzy, Ozzy Osbourne kept his fans waiting a whole decade for his last album, "Ordinary Man". The follow-up has arrived much faster, with "Patient Number 9" being released just two years after the last record, appropriately on the 9th of September. On the one hand, this was likely because the Prince of Darkness was able to dedicate time to the studio that he had planned for his big farewell tour, "No More Tours II". On the other hand, it's rumoured that Ozzy Osbourne was so thrilled with his collaboration with producer Andrew Watt on the last album that he couldn't wait to work with him again. "Patient Number 9" offers 13 new songs from Ozzy and, at a good hour in length, is also pleasantly generous.
LP Record ZZ Top's 2012 album, La Futura, is a great record. It has lots of brilliant songs on it. My favourite song on the album is "I Gotsta Get Paid". It's a fantastic track and I love listening to it.
LP Record Hozier is an album released in 2015 by the Irish musician Hozier. The album was a commercial success, reaching number one in Ireland and the United Kingdom, and number two in the United States. It also won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album. The album's lead single, "Take Me to Church", reached number one in several countries and was nominated for Song of the Year at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.
LP Record This album is a great example of Johnny Cash's later work. It's predominantly acoustic, creating a truly sad and lonely atmosphere. Cash's voice is genuinely raw and emotional, and the lyrics are powerful. It's an excellent album to listen to when you're feeling down.
LP Record The wait is over The world has been waiting for this for 18 years! With "Hackney Diamonds", the Rolling Stones are releasing their first studio album of entirely new, original songs since 2005. The eagerly awaited album will feature twelve brand-new tracks, all written by the Jagger/Richards duo. A short clip of the first single, "Angry", has already been heard online on a special website. Both the single and the album were produced by Grammy award-winning producer Andrew Watt (Iggy Pop, Ozzy Osbourne, Miley Cyrus). Together with long-time Stones producer Don Was, he is responsible for the sound of "Hackney Diamonds".
LP Record Better late than never Rolling Stones fans shouldn't complain about the band's output in 2019 being too sparse. Following the greatest hits collection "Honk", which was released in April, there is now a new live album: "Bridges To Bremen". The name alone reveals which concert recording this is. The recording was made at the Weserstadion in Bremen during the "Bridges To Babylon" tour in 1998, specifically on 2 September. An incredible 40000 fans were there as the rock legends performed classic hits like "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction", "Gimme Shelter", "Sympathy For The Devil", "Honky Tonk Women", "Jumpin' Jack Flash" and many more. You can find the full tracklist for "Bridges To Bremen" below.
LP Record The Rolling Stones album Their Satanic Majesties Request, released in 1967, was a psychedelic masterpiece. The album was filled with experimental sounds and trippy lyrics that took the listener on a journey. The Rolling Stones have always been a great rock 'n' roll band, but this album showed their versatility and willingness to experiment.
LP Record LAYLA AND OTHER ASSORTED LOVE SONGS by Derek and the Dominos is now considered one of the greatest rock albums of all time and a high point in Eric Clapton's career. Originally released in 1970, the album features the timeless hits Layla, Bell Bottom Blues, and Have You Ever Loved a Woman. In mid-August, this album will be re-released on vinyl with its original artwork and the superior sound quality of a 180g record.
LP Record Released in 1970, "Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out!" is a live album by The Rolling Stones. The album was recorded during four concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York. It was a commercial and critical success, achieving platinum certification from the RIAA.
