In addition to live control, you can also set an on/off schedule at preferred times or based on sunrise/sunset - this can be done for your own convenience when you're at home, or to simulate your presence when you're actually away from home to deter burglars. Combine several smart plugs or other products from the Nedis SmartLife range to create smart scenes, that can be activated at the same time, or automation, that are triggered by the camera, with a button, motion sensor or smoke detector. The plug works over the Zigbee 3.0 protocol and is ideal for use in places where there is no stable Wi-Fi signal via a router, such as in the garage. By connecting the socket through a gateway, you create a mesh network through these sockets, making it very easy to have a smart socket in places with poor Wi-Fi signal.
