The Shanling SM1.3 is a network player, DAC, and headphone amplifier all in one – designed to be the heart of any high-end hi-fi system. It uses high-quality AK4499EX and AK4141 D/A converters with support for resolutions up to PCM 32-bit / 768kHz and DSD512. Thanks to a heavily modified Android 12 system, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage expandable via an M.2 SSD, it offers smooth performance and a wide range of uses. Control is provided by a 5.8" Full HD touchscreen, which is not only practical but also looks fantastic. The SM1.3 supports the most popular streaming services like Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Apple Music, Deezer, Amazon Music, and more. Connectivity is handled by WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 with high-quality codecs (LDAC, aptX HD, etc.), a LAN port, and support for DLNA, AirPlay 2, and Samba. The ability to connect a NAS server and its support for a wide range of formats (including MQA and DSD) make this an exceptionally versatile device.

Inside the SM1.3, you'll find not only a high-quality digital section but also a precisely engineered power supply with two separate toroidal transformers – each for a different part of the system to prevent mutual interference. The audio output benefits from high-quality MUSES8920 and TPA6120 operational amplifiers, whether you're using the RCA, XLR, or 6.35mm jack output. An Accusilicon clock ensures precise digital timing, and the fast XMOS XU316 USB interface handles connection to a computer.
