Smoothie Makers—Power Consumption

  • Wattage indicates a smoothie blender's power and also affects performance.
  • If you want the device to be effective, don't go below 150W.
  • Around 350W of power should be enough to prepare tasty vegetable and fruit drinks.

Healthy lifestyle lovers of all ages—athletes, the elderly, pregnant women, mothers with children—will get great use out of a smoothie blender.

Smoothie Makers—Useful Features

  • Mixing time - some smoothie makers can only blend when you hold the switch. Others offer a continuous mixing function as well as mixing for a certain length of time. Choose according to your own preferences.
  • Overheating protection - thanks to this integrated safety feature, the blender automatically switches off if the motor gets too hot to prevent possible damage.
  • Safety lock - prevents the smoothie machine from starting if the container is not connected properly to the base.
  • Dishwasher safe - check before you buy that all containers and lids are dishwasher safe.

Smoothie Makers—Accessories

  • Containers - smoothie blenders come with special containers that serve as drinks bottles. Some models offer multiple containers of different volumes, or you can buy smoothie containers separately.
  • Lids - the containers require a sealable lid that allows you to take prepared smoothies with you wherever you go. Some lids also have a practical loop for easy attachment to a bag.
  • Bottle sleeves - these special wraps, usually made of neoprene, keep your smoothie at the desired temperature for a longer time.

Tritan is a high-quality, safe, non-toxic plastic often used to make smoothie blender containers.

Smoothie Makers—Material

  • Blender base - can be made from high-quality plastic and stainless steel. You can choose from a wide range of colours and shapes to suit your taste and the interior of your kitchen.
  • Drinks containers - most often made of transparent Tritan, ergonomically shaped and can be equipped with anti-slip elements.
  • Mixing blades - most often made from stainless steel. Sometimes the stainless steel is coated with other materials, such as titanium, to increase the durability of the blades.
