The Solight PIR motion sensor automatically switches on lighting when it detects movement in the monitored area. The black wall-mounted detector senses infrared radiation at a 180° angle and reacts to thermal changes caused by moving people. Its tilting head design lets you direct the detection zone to suit your specific space. The device switches on standard light bulbs up to 800W and LED light sources up to a 300W load. It can be mounted on the vertical walls of buildings, near entrances, garages, or on access paths.

Detection field
The detector captures movement in a horizontal 180° angle up to a distance of 12m at temperatures up to 24°C. The speed of captured motion ranges from 0.6 to 1.5m/s. The tilting head makes it easy to precisely define the monitored area. The sensor reacts to changes in the infrared spectrum and activates the connected light immediately upon a person entering the detection zone.
Time and sensitivity regulation
You can adjust the parameters using rotary controls. The switch-on time delay ranges from 10s (with a deviation of ±3s) to 7min (with a deviation of ±2min). The light sensitivity can be smoothly regulated from 10 to 2000 lux. The rotary controls are located directly on the body of the device under a protective cover. The ambient light level setting determines the light intensity at which the device begins to react.
Durable design
The IP44-rated construction is resistant to splashing water from all directions and the ingress of foreign objects. The black casing protects the internal electronic circuits from adverse weather conditions when used outdoors. The sensor operates in a temperature range from -10 to +40°C. It should be mounted on a vertical wall at a recommended height of 1.8 to 2.5m above the ground. The placement is suitable for monitoring the areas around entrances, garages, or access paths.
Light source compatibility
The device works with various types of light sources connected to a 220 to 240V mains supply. The maximum rated load for classic light bulbs with a resistive load is 800W. For modern, energy-saving LED bulbs, the manufacturer has set the load limit at 300W. The detector's own power consumption in standby mode is approximately 0.5W.
