Solmucol 100 mg 24 lozenges
The preparation contains the medicinal substance acetylcysteine, which dissolves all the components that cause mucus to become viscous. This promotes expectoration and reduces irritating coughs. The preparation is used to treat all respiratory diseases that are accompanied by intense formation of thick, mucousy mucus. It can be administered in acute inflammation of the bronchi, larynx, trachea and in colds and irritating coughs. It is intended for adults, adolescents and children over 4 years of age. The pack contains 24 traps.
Dosage and method of use
Adults and adolescents from 14 years of age take 1 lozenge 4-6 times a day. Children aged 7 to 14 years take 1 lozenge 3-4 times a day. Children from 4 years to 7 years take 1 lozenge 2-3 times a day. Allow the lozenge to dissolve slowly in your mouth.
Contraindications
The product is not intended for children under 4 years of age. Read the package insert carefully.
Notice
Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking Solmucol if you are asthmatic (asthma bronchiale) or have a stomach ulcer or duodenal ulcer. Patients with bronchial asthma must be monitored for the possibility of bronchospasm (bronchoconstriction) during treatment with SOLMUCOL. When it occurs, treatment must be discontinued immediately.
Storage
Store at temperatures up to 25 °C. Keep the lozenges in the blister pack to protect the product from moisture. Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box for Use by: and a blister pack for EXP. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
