TSA lock
The primary purpose of the TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to enable luggage to be easily opened for inspection without damage. It also speeds up the inspection process. TSA security officers can open and check luggage with this type of lock without having to break it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key used to open this type of lock. Keys for TSA locks are not sold to the public and are only available to TSA officers. After inspecting your luggage, these officers are required to place a notice of inspection in your suitcase and relock it. It is particularly recommended for travel to the US, as the TSA is primarily a US organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.Specifications
