Stará Myslivecká Reserve 0,7l 40%
Stará myslivecká Reserve carries a substantial piece of Czech history. The first spirits were created in the U Zeleného stromu (At the Green Tree) house in Prostějov as early as the beginning of the 16th century. Each of the custodians of this legendary property contributed their work and perfected the production processes. Step by step, this purely Czech delicacy was born, although initially under the German name Alter Korn.
Production process
Stará myslivecká Reserve differs from the basic version of the spirit by its longer maturation period in white oak casks. First, the spirit itself is aged in them for 3 years, then it rests for another year with a secret combination of dried fruit. The result is a drink with a distinct whisky character and the signature of oak casks, complemented by pleasantly sweet, spicy notes of orchard fruit on the palate in the finish.
And how is it best to enjoy the aged Stará myslivecká Reserve?
Serve Stará myslivecká Reserve neat at room temperature or on the rocks, but it also works as a base for mixed drinks. Try an unconventional combination with lemon juice and tonic or ginger ale.
