Tascam US-16x08 external sound card
The Tascam US 16x8 USB sound card is the perfect tool for completely professional studio work, with a top-class frequency range. It is compatible with Windows, Mac OS and iOS, but a major advantage is that it can also be used as a standalone device without a computer connection. It is equipped with sixteen inputs and eight outputs, and uses Ultra-HDDA preamps with up to 56dB of gain and very low distortion and noise. Its MIDI In/Out allows it to work with controllers and drum synthesisers. A rackmount adapter is included in the package.

Each channel of the Tascam US-16x08 external sound card is equipped with a four-band equaliser. Outside of interface mode, you can use the Tascam US-16x08 as a standalone microphone preamplifier. Drivers are available for Windows and Mac, as well as USB Class Compliant 2.0 drivers for tablets like the Apple iPad. On the rear panel of the Tascam US-16x08 external sound card is a MIDI input and output. The device offers enough inputs and outputs for almost any music recording application.
