The Tescoma DELLA CASA Fermentation Lid is suitable for making homemade sauerkraut, gherkins, pickled vegetables and other delicacies, and is designed for DELLA CASA clip-top jars in 5000, 1000, 800 and 600ml sizes. The airtight lid has a special valve that releases the excess pressure created in the jar during fermentation, while not letting any air in. The lid has 3 marked positions: for putting on or taking off the lid, for fermentation, and for storing or carrying the jar.
