The WMF Function 4 high casserole with a 24cm diameter offers a generous 8.8L capacity for making stocks, soups, stews, and larger portions of side dishes. It is crafted from premium Cromargan® 18/10 stainless steel, which stands out for its elegant appearance, neutral taste, and acid resistance. A glass lid with a silicone rim allows you to monitor the cooking process and sits securely on the casserole. Hollow handles reduce heat transfer, staying cooler and more comfortable to touch when used on the hob. An integrated internal measuring scale makes it easy to measure liquids accurately, and the wide pouring rim ensures comfortable pouring without messy drips. The TransTherm® universal base guarantees optimum heat distribution and retention. The casserole is suitable for all common hob types, including induction, and is oven safe up to 250°C without the glass lid.
1 lid, 4 functions
The multifunctional lid offers four positions for different cooking methods. The closed position lets you cook with a small amount of water, while the open position makes it easy to drain liquids completely. Use the large sieve section for straining pasta and the small sieve section for draining rice.
Stay-cool handles
The hollow handle design limits heat transfer from the body, keeping the handles cooler and more comfortable to touch when cooking on the hob. This makes handling the casserole much easier. Please note that this feature does not apply when used in the oven.
Easy measuring
The internal measuring scale lets you measure liquids directly in the casserole. You can easily check the amount of water or stock you need without having to use an extra measuring jug.
Drip-free pouring
