Xiaomi WiFi Range Extender N300
The Xiaomi WiFi Range Extender N300 is designed to extend your wireless network coverage in areas with a weak signal. This device receives the existing signal from your router and broadcasts it to areas such as hallways, bedrooms, balconies or bathrooms. The device supports a transmission speed of up to 300Mbps in the 2.4GHz band, making everyday internet browsing and video streaming a breeze. It plugs directly into a Type E electrical socket and works with a 100–240V, 0.35A power supply. Using this single-band extender indoors helps to eliminate dead spots throughout your home.
Key features of the Xiaomi WiFi Range Extender N300
- Supports transmission speeds up to 300Mbps
- Operates in the 2.4GHz wireless band
- Features two external antennas to broadcast the signal
- Connects up to 16 devices simultaneously
- Power consumption of 3.57W
- WPA2 and WPA encryption protects wireless data transmission
External antennas
This network device uses two external antennas to spread the signal throughout your home. These antennas help to overcome physical obstacles like walls and ceilings. The physical antennas improve the stability of the wireless connection throughout the property. You get more stable coverage even in previously unreachable places. The 2×2 external antennas help maintain a stable transmission speed and reduce signal fluctuations when multiple different devices are connected at home.
Transmission speed
The device operates in the 2.4GHz wireless band with a transmission speed of up to 300Mbps, according to the IEEE 802.11b/g/n standard. This speed is perfectly sufficient for smooth web browsing, file downloads and online video streaming. Single-band operation suits both older and more modern devices on the network. The system automatically selects the most suitable connection for a stable user experience. This device supports the WiFi 4 standard and is suitable for general indoor use.
Connect multiple devices
Up to 16 different end devices can connect to the created wireless network at the same time. The extender easily handles the simultaneous operation of laptops, smartphones, tablets, game consoles and smart TVs. The hardware maintains a stable connection for all users without sudden drops in performance. This allows every member of the household to independently download data, watch their favourite shows or make video calls.
Stable connection
Two external antennas make it much easier to receive the signal from your primary home router. The device continuously evaluates the wireless signal strength and optimises its performance. The improved design eliminates wireless network dropouts during daily use. This means users can avoid frustrating content loading during online activities. Stable data transmission is maintained even in areas with poorer signal penetration.
Easy setup
The device's dimensions are 8×7×5.4cm, making it easy to plug into any standard wall socket. It is powered from a standard mains network with parameters of 100–240V and 0.35A. The small body of the device does not take up unnecessary space. The quick setup of the entire system takes only a few minutes. Power consumption is just 3.57W, which contributes to economical continuous operation.
Network security
Wireless operation uses established security standards for reliable protection of transmitted data. WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK encryption effectively prevents unauthorised access to your home network. The security protocols protect sensitive information transfers from potential external misuse. Users can send files, enter passwords or make internet payments without worry. The extender operates reliably in temperatures from 0 to +40°C.
