Yale Maximum Security Laptop YLEM/200/EG1

The Yale Maximum Security Laptop YLEM/200/EG1 furniture safe is used for the secure storage of a laptop, documents, and other valuables. An electronic lock with a number keypad is complemented by a backlit LCD display, which makes it easier to use. A high level of protection against unauthorised entry is provided by armoured plates on the locking mechanism and a door reinforced with steel sheets. For added convenience, the door opens automatically after entering the correct code and the interior is illuminated by LEDs.

Durable construction and advanced security

The safe is designed with a strong emphasis on security. Its single-walled body is 2.5mm thick and the door is 6mm thick. The locking mechanism is secured by 22mm diameter steel bolts. Vulnerable points are protected by armoured plates that shield the lock, and the door is reinforced with steel sheets around its entire perimeter. After three unsuccessful opening attempts, the built-in alarm is activated. You can securely anchor the safe to the wall using the anchor bolts included in the package.

Convenient operation and emergency access

You operate the safe via an electronic lock with a number keypad. The entered code is shown on a backlit LCD display, which can be turned off if needed. After entering the correct combination, the door opens automatically. The interior with LED lighting gives you a clear view of your stored items. The storage surfaces are lined with felt, which protects delicate items from scratches. If the batteries run out, you can power the safe in an emergency via an external input for a 9V battery or open it using the included security key. An indicator will alert you when the batteries are low.
