New Order: Movement (2015 Remaster)

Although the band had released several singles and EPs before Movement, this is considered the first time the band's sound coalesced into the post-punk/new-wave style for which they would become known. The album was produced by Martin Hannett, who also produced Joy Division's final album, Closer. The album's sound is often dark and brooding, with heavy basslines and synthesisers. The lyrics, primarily written by Bernard Sumner, often deal with themes of love and loss. The album's lead single, 'Dreams Never End', became a Top 10 hit in the UK.

Originally released in April 1984, it secured the band's status as one of the most interesting and innovative of the decade with its pointed minimalism on the title track, the driving rhythm of "Sleepless", and the closing "Larks' Tongues in Aspic III" – the only nod to the 1970s King Crimson. The Beatles: Revolver Pic Ltd
LP Record The Beatles' seventh album was released at the beginning of August 1966. After releasing Rubber Soul, the band embarked on their final UK concert tour and, following a long break, returned to Abbey Road to record for three months. Engineered by Geoff Emerick, the first recordings from these sessions were the singles 'Paperback Writer' and 'Rain', which hinted at what was to come. The extended time in the studio paid off with greater creativity and experimentation, with both John and Paul in fine songwriting form. George also made his mark, with three of his compositions appearing on a Beatles album for the first time.
