The secrets of Bradley smokers lie in the taste hidden within the wood briquettes. Sawdust is used in their production. The sawdust is pressed together at the correct densities under precisely controlled pressure. The taste of smoked meals varies considerably depending on which type of wood has been used. Maple briquets provide a strong and distinctive flavour that is particularly suited to smoked seafood, ham and bacon.
Bradley briquettes smoke for 20 minutes. It produces a clean taste of wood from the cold smoke. Once a briquette is pushed, the smoke generator automatically pushes it into a bowl of water to prevent unwanted ash bursts. Subsequently, another briquette is loaded from the container to automatically keep the smoking process running.
When using briquettes there is no burning, thus preserving the pure taste of the selected wood. If a higher temperature of combustion of wood occurs, undesirable gases, resins and other combustion products will be generated. But this does not happen in Bradley smokers, so you do not have to worry that these unwanted gases will disrupt your perfect smoked taste.
