The Byrds: The Notorious Byrd Brothers
LP Record Although some people only know The Byrds for their covers, critics consider the band one of the most important and influential groups of the 1960s. Their signature sound of clean vocal harmonies and jangly guitars, combined with the sound of the 'British Invasion' from The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, made The Byrds pioneers of folk rock, psychedelic rock, raga rock, and country rock. Recording the album The Notorious Byrd Brothers in 1968, at the height of the Flower Power movement, required a Herculean effort; disagreements over artistic direction and internal strife meant that by the end of the recording sessions, only two members of The Byrds remained. Despite everything, the album was a labour of love.

LP Record The American crossover thrash metal band Suicidal Tendencies was founded in 1980 by singer Mike Muir. Following the success of their debut album, they released "Join The Army" in 1987. This album is arguably one of their most famous works, featuring the popular tracks "War Inside My Head", "Possessed To Skate", and "Join The Army". It was the first album to feature Rocky George on guitar and R. J. Herrera on drums, and the last recording with Louiche Mayorga on bass.
