It is a dietary supplement in capsules that combines three fractions of unsaturated fatty acids - omega-3, omega-6, omega-9 and is also enriched with vitamin E. The correct ratio of these fats supports normal cellular and nervous system function and helps maintain healthy cholesterol levels. Due to the high fish oil content, the product has a fishy smell.
Why are omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9 important?
Omega-3s are essential fats that help lower "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and promote "good" cholesterol (HDL), and are the building blocks of cell membranes. Omega-6s support the production of hormones and neurotransmitters and contribute to the proper function of the nervous system and cell membranes. Omega-9s help lower LDL cholesterol without lowering HDL, and help maintain normal blood pressure. Recommended dosage
Take 1 capsule daily, preferably after meals. Wash down with plenty of water.
