PTD 2 Controller with Integrated FHD Display
The Potensic PTD 2 controller features an integrated 5.5" touchscreen with a resolution of 1,920 × 1,080px, so you don't need to connect a mobile phone or use a connecting cable before flying. Brightness of up to 900 nits improves the readability of the live view, even outdoors in brighter daylight. The integrated Potensic Eve environment provides access to flight and camera settings, smart modes and saved flight logs directly from the controller.
More Precise Photography Control
The PTD 2 features a two-stage shutter button. You can half-press to lock the exposure and fully press to take a photo, making it easier to control your shot more precisely without using the touchscreen. The controller also has a built-in speaker for system sounds and alerts, but it is not equipped with a microphone and does not allow the installation of third-party apps.
Long Battery Life and Fast Controller Charging
The PTD 2 controller's built-in battery offers a maximum operating time of approximately 3 hours. It charges via USB-C and supports the USB Power Delivery protocol with up to 27W of power. When using a compatible charger and USB-C/USB-C cable, the controller can be charged to approximately 90% in 1 hour and 25 minutes. ³
Fly More Combo with up to 120 Minutes of Flight Time
The Fly More Combo includes three standard intelligent batteries, each providing a maximum flight time of up to 40 minutes. In total, you can fly for up to 120 minutes under ideal conditions. The parallel charging hub allows you to charge all three batteries simultaneously and, when using a suitable power source, reduces the fastest charging time for the standard batteries to approximately 1.5 hours. ¹
A Lightweight Drone Ready for Travel
With a standard battery, propellers and microSD card, the Potensic ATOM 3 weighs less than 249g and belongs to the European C0 class. When folded, it measures just 148 × 91 × 62mm, so it fits easily into the included carrying case. Its compact design makes it easy to carry on trips, holidays and longer journeys. The operation of the drone is always subject to the applicable rules in the place of use.
Detailed Photos and 4K/60fps HDR Video
The camera with a 1/1.3" CMOS sensor captures photos with a resolution of up to 50Mpx and 4K HDR video at up to 60 frames per second. An f/2.8 aperture, an equivalent focal length of approximately 24mm and a maximum data rate of 120Mbps help preserve the fine details of landscapes, architecture and dynamic scenes. RAW photos in DNG format and a P-Log colour mode are available for post-processing.
Three-Axis Gimbal and Footage Ready for Editing
The three-axis mechanical gimbal stabilises the camera during flight and reduces unwanted image shake or tilt. HDR, panoramic photography, Med-Tele mode, native 2.7K vertical shooting and Full HD slow-motion video with up to 7× slow motion are available. The AI Night mode helps to retain more detail when shooting in low light and supports video up to 4K at 30fps.
Better Results Even After Dark
The AI Night mode uses advanced image processing for cleaner shots in low light. It helps to reduce overexposed highlights and retain more detail in the dark parts of the scene, for example when shooting an illuminated city, an evening landscape or night-time landmarks. Night shots can be captured in up to 4K at 30fps.
AI Tracking 2.0 Keeps the Subject in the Shot
AI Tracking 2.0 can recognise the tracked subject and keep it in the composition as it moves. AI Follow mode follows the subject, AI Parallel moves parallel to it, and AI Spotlight leaves flight control to the user while the camera automatically tracks the selected target. Tracking at altitudes below 4 metres requires a full-coverage propeller guard, which is sold separately. ⁴
Automatic Cinematic Shots and Pre-Planned Routes
AI QuickShots modes make it easy to create impressive shots without complex manual control. Options include Pull-away, Rocket, Circle, Spiral, Boomerang, Dolly Zoom and Drift. With the Waypoint function, you can pre-set route points and let the drone automatically fly the planned path, which is useful for repeated filming of landscapes, buildings or larger areas.
Vertical Video and up to 7× Slow Motion
Native vertical shooting in 2.7K resolution creates video with a 9:16 aspect ratio directly in the camera, so you can conveniently use it on social media without additional cropping of the horizontal image. Dynamic moments can also be captured using Full HD slow-motion video with up to 7× slow motion.
Stable PixSync 5.0 Image Transmission
PixSync 5.0 technology provides a live 1080p video stream at 60fps with a maximum range of up to 16km in an open area with no obstacles or interference. Adaptive switching between the 2.4, 5.2 and 5.8GHz bands helps maintain a more stable connection; tri-band operation is available in the US and Europe. The actual range may vary depending on regional restrictions, environment and current interference. ²
More Precise AR RTH Return
The automatic return function helps to bring the drone back to the take-off point when manually activated, on low battery, or if the connection is lost. The AR RTH display visualises the return route and important flight points, while landing pad recognition supports a more precise completion of the return. The drone does not have an automatic obstacle avoidance system, so it is necessary to set the correct return altitude and monitor the space in the planned route.
Fast Downloads and the Clear Potensic Eve App
You can transfer photos and videos from the drone directly to your mobile phone after landing using the SmartTransfer function at speeds of up to 30MB/s. The transfer is not done via the PTD 2 controller – the phone connects directly to the drone's Wi-Fi network. Alternatively, you can remove the microSD card and use a memory card reader.
Optional Potensic Care Service
The optional Potensic Care service is also available for the ATOM 3, which, depending on the selected plan, provides the option to replace the drone in the event of accidental damage or other included events. The service is not an automatic part of the package and must be purchased and activated separately.
