The Aqara smart socket enables automatic switching on or off of connected appliances with a maximum power consumption of 2300 W. The Aqara Smart Plug has a Zigbee 3.0 wireless interface that connects to the Aqara Hub, which allows control of the connected appliance via the Aqara Home mobile app or voice assistants. You can easily turn a regular fan, lamp or coffee machine into a "smart" device that switches on according to a schedule or automated actions. In addition, the app provides detailed information on how much electricity the connected device has consumed. The socket with F-type plug has a protective cover resistant to puncture and has a fuse against overheating or overload. For full functionality, the device requires an Aqara Hub (not included).

Convenient control by phone or voice
Switching on or off connected appliances can be controlled from anywhere using the freely downloadable Aqara Home app, available for Android and iOS. You can also set up schedules in the app to automatically start appliances at set times. You can easily set the coffee machine to switch on at 7am every day, for example. Connected appliances can also be controlled via Siri, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
The Aqara smart socket uses the Zigbee 3.0 communication interface
To connect to the central unit, the smart socket uses the Zigbee 3.0 wireless interface, which was designed with an emphasis on use in IoT and smart home systems. Through encrypted communication, Zigbee can connect devices from different manufacturers while maintaining their mutual compatibility and convenient control. The advantages of this interface are also energy-efficient operation, stability and high data transfer speed.

Pokud je ZigBee certifikován neměl by být správně dotupý i pro jiné systémy jako je LidlHome? Nebo je to otázkou času kdy bude softwarově kompatibilní i s jinými systémy než Aqara? Pokud je Aqara hub striktně vyžádována bez možnosti rozšíření Zigbee na LidlHome as produkt budu vracet. Přijde mi jako nesmysl mít na každé zařízení jinou hubky, když je výrobek ZigBee certifikován.
