KickZone technology

A brand new Salming stick technology used in the first-class Salming models - owing to this technology, the stick, when bent during shooting, kicks back faster creating a whip effect and thus gives the ball more power and higher speed. This effect is achieved due to a specially curved shape of the shaft. In the smallest diameter zone of the shaft, the wall is 1mm narrower, which leads to greater flexibility, but the shaft is still sufficiently strong. When shooting, this narrow zone, which leads down to the blade, bends more and gives the shots more strength.

Shots with bow-like precision 

X-Shaft technology makes the stick a little slimmer than you are used to, and at the same time, the stick has a bit narrower KickZone area. Combining X-Shaft and Kickzone results in a bend at the bottom of the stick, which is followed by a whip effect. Consequently, the whole process can be compared to a bow shooting - the shots will have extraordinary precision and very high speed.

Blade with many great features

The lightest blade from the Quest series, namely Quest1, weighs mere 72g with the playing surface of 181cm2. It is perfectly suited for players who like wrist shots because the light blade gives the shots a greater speed leaving the goalkeeper no chance to react. The cavity of the blade, which is 7.2mm, is adapted to wrist shots, and it stretches horizontally across the blade and adds to the strength of the shots. The blade Quest1 also features an outstanding Trident technology that transmits the power from the shaft to the blade and preserves the integrity of the stick. The Torsion Lid system then adds stiffness to the blade by filling the spaces in the grid at its base. Another major feature is the Toe Drag Design, which makes it easier to pull the ball towards you.

Curved shaft

TipCurve technology is a backward curvature at the tip end of the shaft. The curve creates an optimal angle between the stick and the floor, which means you can shoot without having to bend the blade at its heel and the blade is thus easier to handle and pass the ball with. There are three options - 2°, 3° and 5°. The Salming Quest1 uses the 3° option.
