PC Power Supply - 650W, ATX, 80 PLUS Gold, efficiency of 92%, 4 piece(s) PCIe (8-pin / 6+2-pin), 9 × SATA, detachable cables, active PFC, thermal speed control and power switch, 135mm fan, Semi modular, depth of 165mm
A power supply unit with an output of 650W from the GQ series is designed for computer assemblies requiring reliable and continuous operation. EVGA 650 GQ's lifetime usage is up to 100,000 hours and is certified 80 Plus which shows just how higly efficient really it is. It encourages the involvement of multiple graphics cards and ensures no trouble with DC-DC conversion.
Key features
EVGA ECO technology ensures completely silent operation at a medium load
Japanese capacitors
Life of up to 100,000 hours of continuous operation
80+ Gold certification - proof of high efficiency of resources
Promotes the involvement of multiple graphics cards
Fan with a diameter of 135mm with fluid bearings
Silent at medium load
This power sourse includes the EVGA ECO mode, which makes it completely silent for small to medium loads. As long as it is not necessary, the 135mm fan does not start - ensuring a completely silent operation. High-quality Japanese capacitors are used to further increase the reliability and strength of the power source.
modular design
The power source uses modular cabling, so that during installation or in order to better air flow, you can remove some of the cables. There is also the technology support NVIDIASLI and AMD CrossFire for connecting multiple graphics cards to even further the performance. The design of the power source contributes to almost perfect + DC-DC conversion, which further optimizes the efficiency of the current reduction and impedance losses.
80 Plus Gold efficiency
The Gold Series meets one of the highest standards of efficiency certified by the organization PlugLoadSolutions (80 PLUS). The Certification 80 Plus Gold means the power source efficiently uses energy without any waste and does not produce excessive amounts of heat. Under a normal load, the efficiency is 92% or higher. There is also circuit protection against short circuiting, overvoltage or overload.
Clearly specifies the maximum computing power performance in watts (W). The most common values include 400 W but some gaming computers have a 1000 W or more.
The physical dimensions of the source determine its next deployment. For classical computers there is the type ATX, but some miniature cases require a source with smaller dimensions (TFX).
This is a list of other functional equipment of the resource. Desired parameters are primarily detachable cables, thermal fan speed control or completely passive cooling.
Active PFC, Detachable cables, Power switch, Thermal speed control
80 Plus certification program focuses on the selection of power saving resources. According to the results obtained with different load, the source gets awards - Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Titan...

Each motherboard needs to be powered directly from the source. This item specifies the exact type of used connectors. The most common combination is ATX 24-pin ATX + 4-pin.
ATX 24pin, CPU 8pin / 4+4pin, Floppy 4pin, Molex 4pin, PCI-E 8pin / 6+2pin, SATA 15pin
Depth, as physical dimension of the source, in milimetres.
165 mm (16.5 cm)
