The two-piece JRC features a highly modulated 30T carbon blank, is very robust and definitely will not disappoint you at the decisive moment. JRC has developed a series of Cocoon carp rods from which you can expect top quality and cutting-edge trends in the development and design of fishing rods. This rod is fitted with SiC eyelets and offers a safe 20mm DPS reel seat.
It will give you a unique design with contrasting black windings and anodized metal parts. An advantage is a rubberized handle with a stylish fitting. The 2.7 metre long Short Range rod consists of two parts and can be folded down to a length of 1.39 metres for easier transport. Its semiparabolic action is more versatile and will help you catch even bigger fish in more challenging terrain. It is suitable for a short distance and allows you to use even bigger, heavier baits.

Maximum throwing load
The JRC Cocoon carousel has a value of 2.75 lbs, which indicates the bar test curve . You will find out at what load the beam bends to the right angle and this works out the maximum throwing load converted to grams - 2.75 pounds corresponds to 1,247 grams - and after dividing this figure by 16 you get about 78 grams, which is just the maximum throwing load. Here it is taken into account that you will cast with maximum force, swing the load or even start running. What is important is that you will not harm the rod at all. You can also use heavier lead, but definitely cast more cautiously.
