NVIDIA leaves no doubt who has a leading position in the field of graphics cards. After the grand success of the high-end model series GeForce 1080 and 1070, it arrives on the scene and steals the show with this new product which will play resolutions up to 2560 x 1440 pixels. That is the main domain GeForce GTX 1060th
Key features
- The new architecture Pascal with 16Nm production process
- Low energy consumption - enough to power one 6-pin connector
- Ideal for gaming experience QHD and Full HD resolution
- Comparable performance generation with the GeForce GTX 980
- The card uses clocked Core - 1582/1797MHz
- GIGABYTE adds quality cooling using 2 large fans
Energy-saving operation
Thanks to 16Nm production technology and new architecture Pascal manufacturer boasts not only significantly higher performance but far greater efficiency. Expected consumption thus borders on only 120 W, yet offers comparable performance to the GTX 980 demanded operation up to 165 W.
Advanced technical capabilities
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1060 WINDFORCE OC 6GB offers power represented by 1,280 CUDA cores, 80 texturing and 48 rendering units. The Pascal family GP106 is running at a rate of 1,797MHz in Boost Mode. The graphics chip will boast 6GB of GDDR5 memory with 192GB/s of data bandwidth.
Game Series from GIGABYTE
The tuned Pascal chips are virtually eliminated by GIGABYTE. This is only possible thanks to a very good cooling system. This is a very large and heavily ribbed cooler that is sucked by a pair of silent fans. This celebration of technology is called Windforce 2X and will definitely not let you down in any other overclocking games.
