There is only one variant of the case! The true one! Four detective stories by a well-known TV scriptwriter. For the head of the Prague Mordparty and his team, it is increasingly difficult to maintain their independence in investigating crimes in the era of the emerging normalisation. "We're here to investigate crimes of, I would say, the usual type. The big crimes, that are happening in our country right now, they will one day, I hope, to be investigated by others," Sokol, the head of Prague's Mordparty, tells his three subordinates after the occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1968. Ordinary crimes continued to be committed, CSIs have to catch and convict the killers. In some cases, however, it has been more complicated. In some places, the gates of barracks where Russian and other friendly soldiers are temporarily stationed are being closed in their faces, while in others, colleagues from the State Security Service, equipped with the "correct ideology", are interfering in the investigation. All four cases will be solved, but the coming normalisation, which has warped human characters, will take its toll on the questions of truth and the fates of Zelenka's main characters. The atmosphere of 1968, the dissatisfaction of ordinary people and their fears for the future breathe from all the stories.
