Active speakers have a custom built-in amplifier (typically a PC speakers). Conversely, passive systems require an external amplifier, from which the sound goes to each speaker.

In terms of frequency range, speakers are produced with different properties. It is due to both, its purpose and secondly, the physical properties of individual structures. It is the lowest value in...
Electrical parameter that expresses resistance of circuits in speakers and is expressed in ohms. Speaker with an impedance 4 ohms will have twice the power than the speaker with an impedance of 8...
The number of bands refers to the number of frequency bands that the loudspeaker or system reproduces. A single-band loudspeaker produces all the sounds from a single transducer, while a multi-band loudspeaker has multiple transducers, each optimised for a specific frequency range (e.g. high, mid, low frequencies). Multiband systems often provide better sound quality because each band can be reproduced by a transducer designed specifically for that frequency range.
The ingress protection (IP) is an internationally standardised code that identifies the resistance of electrical appliances against the ingress of foreign items and liquids, especially water. It is expressed in the so-called IP code, which consists of the "IP" followed by two digits: the first indicates the protection against dangerous contact and foreign objects, the second indicates the degree of protection against water ingress.
