AKAI Pro LPK 25

The Akai LPK25 is a USB-MIDI controller for musicians, producers, DJs and other music creators. It measures less than 33cm and weighs under a kilogramme, so it easily fits into a backpack or laptop case for extreme portability. Keyboard players who want to work with software on their computer will find that the LPK25 controller is the tool they need to express themselves virtually anywhere.

The LPK25 is a smaller version of the MPK series controllers. The small keyboard consists of 25 miniature, velocity-sensitive keyboard keys. It contains an arpeggiator, which steps through chords automatically and helps musicians to create fast melodic and rhythmic ideas. The LPK25 also features sustain, octave and tap tempo controls.

The Akai LPK25 keyboard works without software driver installation for both Mac OS X and Windows operating systems (plug-and-play) and is powered directly from the USB port. It has four memory banks for programming and displaying the appropriate settings for various software applications.
