AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X
The AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X Castle Peak CPU is a good choice for ultra powerful computers that require uncompromising performance and speed. and enough processing power for seamless software operation courtesy to its clock speed. If needed, this processor will automatically overclock to an impressive 4,5 GHz and further boost the computer performance. The so-called memory cache of the processor features a capacity of 128 MB if it's an L3 cache and 12 MB with an L2 cache. The CPU utilises 7 nm production technology, ranking it among the most modern chips available. The advantages of the CPU include a practical integrated graphics card.
- Overclock friendly due to the unlocked CPU multiplier
- The AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X processor includes 24 cores
- CPU maximum clock speed under load: 4,5 GHz
- Supported memory channels: 4
- Automatic overclocking support
- Without integrated graphics chip GPU included
- CPU supports virtualisation
- AMD Ryzen Threadripper Castle Peak processor supports DDR4 system memory
- Multi-Threading for better data management

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X CPU Overclocking Options
The CPU uses automatic overclocking to effectively manage both the power consumption and general processing load. Under heavy load, the CPU will adjust the clock speed to reach 4,5 GHz. The AMD Ryzen Threadripper Castle Peak CPU enables you to fairly easily regulate the base clock speed also through manual overclocking. It includes an unlocked multiplier for it and can put up with heavy processing load. However, overclocking causes a higher TDP, which for the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X CPU is 280 W.
What Else Can the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X CPU Do?
People working with professional software will welcome the Multi-threading technology on the CPU as well, which enables every processor core to run multiple processes at the same time. The AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X CPU also supports virtualisation, which is a handy thing to have. It allows you to simulate several virtual PCs on one physical PC if you have the Citrix XenApp platform.
