After the international success of Jesero, a new novel by Bianca Bell is published
She's a nurse, he's almost a child. They meet on the ruins of their lives, on the ruins of the old world, on the ruins of a hospital, into which the new world is encroaching like the ubiquitous weedy creepers. It doesn't get any better than this. But what if it does? Or... what if it's possible to disappear? Escape from fire, that relentlessly sprinkles the hot earth around, from all the rules, how a woman should behave and how a man should behave, from the memories, from himself...
Just as in her famous novel Jesero (Magnesia Litera - Book of the Year and European Union Prize for Literature), Bianca Bell masterfully portrays in Mona the oppressive and urgent atmosphere of a moment when one has to make a decision.
