Shanling SM1.3R black

The Shanling SM1.3R network player serves as a digital hub. It uses its own second-generation R2R DAC platform for a natural sound. The player supports high-resolution audio up to 32-bit / 768kHz and DSD512, for listening from USB drives and streaming services. Thanks to the Android 12 operating system and the touchscreen display, you can control all its functions.

Sound powered by an R2R architecture

At the heart of the player is a proprietary second-generation R2R DAC platform that gives the sound its character. This approach differs from standard delta-sigma converters and is sought after for its reproduction quality. The system is complemented by a split power supply with a pair of 31W toroidal transformers, which supply power to the digital and analogue circuits separately. This minimises mutual interference and ensures signal purity.

Streaming and connectivity

The player runs on Android 12, which provides access to streaming services such as Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music, and Qobuz. Support for TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, and Roon Ready certification makes it easy to integrate into existing hi-fi systems. For wireless connectivity, it uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 with support for LDAC and aptX HD codecs. You can control all functions via the 5.8" 1080p touchscreen display, the remote control, or the Eddict Controller mobile app.
