The Ubiquiti UniFi Switch USW-Flex-XG smart switch includes four 10-gigabit RJ-45 ports and one gigabit RJ-45 port with 802.3at PoE (50–57V, 25W) input for power. This makes it ideal for installation in places where a power socket isn't available. Alternatively, you can use the USB-C port and a standard 5V/5A power adapter (included) for power.

Intuitive setup and management
The UniFi Switch USW-Flex-XG does not have web management but is managed centrally by the UniFi Network Controller, which supports the UniFi mobile app. It provides a full suite of advanced L2 switching protocols and features. The UniFi Network Controller and mobile app let an administrator configure and monitor almost all router functions through a graphical user interface from anywhere. In the switch's configuration, you will find, for example:
- Operating mode (switching, mirroring) per port
- Network/VLAN configuration
- Jumbo frame and flow control services
- Network settings
- Storm control setting per port
