Large buttons, an easy-to-read display and the ergonomic shape of the handset make using the phone a pleasant experience for all ages. The large buttons are backlit and clearly labelled to ensure good legibility. You can adjust the large, backlit, black and white display to your preferred contrast ratio to ensure optimal readability. In Jumbo mode, all the digits you dial are displayed extra large. Navigating the menu is also very easy thanks to the single-icon mode, which displays one symbol per page on the screen. You can save particularly important contacts, such as people you want to call in an emergency, on one of the two direct dial buttons (A and B). The direct call function is useful if you only want to call one number from your phone. In difficult situations, you can then press any button and the stored number will be dialled. The phone also boasts a built-in digital answering machine.

Simple Operation and Protection Against Unwanted Calls
Plug & Play technology makes setting up the phone easy—just unpack, plug in and start talking. The textured surfaces on the side of the handset ensure a secure grip and the intuitively designed menu makes using the phone even easier. The large phonebook can hold up to 150 contacts. You can save up to 32 numbers to the blacklist and also specify whether calls from these numbers should be completely blocked or whether they will only be indicated by a visual signal (i.e. without ringing). This can also be used to handle anonymous calls from hidden numbers.
Built-in Digital Answering Machine
The built-in digital answering machine (up to 20 minutes of recording) offers plenty of space for important messages and stores them reliably, even in the event of a power failure. If you have new messages, they will be displayed on the handset and the base. You can also listen to messages via the handset or conveniently via the base at the touch of a button. If you are away from home for a long time, simply use the remote access option. To configure the answering machine exactly to your liking, you can set the maximum recording length and record your own outgoing message.

During a call, the transmission power automatically adjusts to the distance between the handset and the base. The shorter the distance to the base, the lower the radiation. For maximum DECT range, you can deactivate ECO DECT mode at any time.
