Olympia NC 455 is a multifunctional counter that not only counts banknotes but also checks their authenticity. You can count and check the authenticity of all types of banknotes that contain ultraviolet or magnetic security features, while you can count all types of banknotes, certain types of meal vouchers, and tickets without the check. You will certainly appreciate its simple operation and use. Just switch the counter on, let it warm up, set the control sensors, and then insert the banknotes into the input tray. The OLYMPIA NC 455 will then automatically start counting, which you can also activate manually.
The Olympia NC 455 counter works with 5 sensors to check the authenticity of banknotes. The UV sensor checks for security features sensitive to ultraviolet light, the MG sensor checks for printing with magnetic ink, and the MT sensor checks for the presence of a magnetic code. The DD sensor, on the other hand, determines whether the inserted banknotes have the same width, while the IR sensor can detect double banknotes (stuck together), which would otherwise be counted as one. The IR sensor can be used for all currencies.
On the Olympia NC 455 counter, you can set 3 modes: counting, adding, and batching. In counting mode, it counts the inserted banknotes and displays their number on the screen. After removing the banknotes from the tray and inserting new ones, it starts counting from zero. In adding mode, it counts the banknotes, displays their number, and after removing the banknotes from the tray and inserting new ones, the counting continues. Batching mode, on the other hand, allows you to batch banknotes to a preset number. Simply set the batch size from 1–999 pieces, insert the banknotes, and the device will count out the set number.
If, during the counting process, any of the inserted banknotes fail the check, the counting will stop and the corresponding error code will be displayed on the screen. Once you remove the faulty banknote, simply press the Reset button and the counter will continue its work. It can count 1–9999 banknotes with a thickness of 0.075–0.15mm at a counting speed of 1,000 banknotes per minute. The input tray has a capacity for 300 new or 200 worn banknotes. It is powered by a standard mains plug, and you will certainly appreciate its very quiet operation. The Olympia NC 455 is suitable for banks and businesses that handle cash.
